- With MOSES you create the timetables.
- For scheduling, MOSES requires master data such as courses/curricula, instructors, rooms – this data comes from JOANNEUM|online and can be viewed, but not changed, via MOSES.
- When planning timetables, many conditions are automatically taken into account by MOSES:
- Curricular: Curricula and interrelationships of degree programs, e.g., division of degree program into groups.
- Spatial: on the basis of criteria such as the number of places and room equipment.
- Temporal:
- Availability of the teachers
- Blocking times for e.g. courses or study programs
- Travel times between event locations, e.g. when changing campuses
- The conditions will also be taken into account in case of schedule changes during the semester.
- With various evaluations you can identify conflicts in the timetable
- Curricular conflicts (e.g., course scheduling conflicts of the same student group).
- Space conflicts
- Travel time conflicts
