From now on you can automatically synchronize your personal JOANNEUM|online calendar with your personal FH JOANNEUM Outlook calendar.
Important to know:
- Your timetable appointments are NOT subscribed to via iCal link, but synchronized into your Outlook calendar. This means that it is no longer necessary to keep or open two parallel calendars in Outlook in order to view your free and booked times.
- Synchronization only takes place on one side from JOANNEUM|online.
- Appointments that are deleted in the personal Outlook calendar are not deleted in the JOANNEUM|online calendar.
- Only appointments with a course context (= course and examination dates) are synchronized.
- The appointments are currently synchronized every five minutes.
You can use this function for the summer semester 2024 by following the steps below:
- Click on the Outlook appointment synchronization application.
- To activate the function, click on Activate.
- For the changes to take effect, you may need to close and reopen Outlook.
- To deactivate the function, click on the Outlook appointment synchronization application and click Deactivate.

From the winter semester 2024/25, this function will be delivered activated as standard.
